After stating their intent to acquire companies for their new 3D printing division Massive Dynamics have just signed a letter of intent to acquire PrintForge 3D Ltd. The Hong Kong based company are a developer of 3D printers and related accessories.
After already reaching an agreement with Forty-Two LLC, a developer of 3D imaging tools, Massive Dynamics are slowly staking their claim on the burgeoning 3D printing industry.
“We look forward to working with PrintForge over the next several months to launch their line of 3D printers and accessories into the US market; while completing the mutual due diligence required for execution of the definitive acquisition agreement,” commented Oscar Hines, President.
They hope to become a on-stop source of 3D printing hardware, software and consumables in a future where consumers will not “buy” a pre-made product. Consumers will customize a basic product to their own specifications and have it 3D printed at home, rather than wait for it to be delivered.
