Stratasys 3D printers have won the digital manufacturing category in Design World’s annual Leadership in Engineering program. Various models of their Objet 3D printer line were recognized for their innovation in the relatively new field of digital manufacturing by Design World’s online users.
“It is an honor to be recognized by the industry for our innovation and leadership in Digital Manufacturing,” said Jon Cobb, Stratasys Executive VP for Marketing.
Design World were impressed with how Objet showed leadership in the 3D printing industry with several milestones in 2012. Stratasys Inc and Object Ltd merged to form Stratasys Ltd. in 2012 and since then their new 3D printer products have pushed industry standards forward.
Their Objet30 Pro desktop 3D printer is the only desktop system that is capable of printing in seven different materials. Their Objet Connex 3D printers line now provides printing in over 100 different materials as part of the Objet Digital Materials selection, including multi-material technology for 14 different materials in one prototype.
