Solidoodle has just launched the third version of their 3D printer that offers the most affordable way to get into 3D printing. For an “entry level” printer it has a huge 8″x8″x8″ print volume which Solidoodle hopes will redefine customer expectations for printer hardware.
To promote Solidoodle’s achievements they are holding their first official press conference on Thursday, February 28th (10am) at Ensemble, located at 1150 Avenue of the americas, New York. This is a press-only event and over 100 journalists are expected to attend.
Attendees will hear how Solidoodle is planning to become a world leader in affordable 3D printing and they will announce new key partnerships. New worldwide distribution channels will also be announced that they hope will help them exploit emerging markets.
The event will feature a demonstration of the new Solidoodle version 3 3D printer and members of the tech media will be treated to a tour around Solidoodle’s factory by CEO Sam Cervantes. Having first led MakerBot 3D printers, Cevantes is using this event to promote his new company and product to the tech industry press.
