For sale is a Stratasys Objet30 Pro v.2 in very good condition. It has been used for the production of marketing samples and is relatively lightly used (1134 hours). It has not been used for the past two years besides for two test prints.
The printer produces prints with a variety of print materials:
Rigid opaque white (VeroWhitePlus)
Rigid opaque black (VeroBlackPlus )
Rigid opaque blue (VeroBlue)
Rigid opaque gray (VeroGray)
Transparent (VeroClear), a nearly colorless material featuring great dimensional stability for general purpose, fine-detail model building and simulation of transparent thermoplastic such as PMMA
High Temperature (RGD525) for advanced functional testing, hot air and water flow, and static applications
Simulated Polypropylene (RGD450 & RDG430) offers toughness and durability to create smooth prototypes with living hinges, flexible closures and snap-fit parts.
The printable area is 300 x 200 x 150 mm. It prints at a resolution of 28 microns, or 16 microns for VeroClear material.
It was originally purchased for £35,576.00 + £3000.00 for a Quill Vogue Wash Station, + £760.00 for the machine stand. Included is also an HP Compaq PC and display. The original total cost for all of the hardware was £39,336.00 excluding the PC and VAT. Original invoice will be produced. Included in this sale is all of the above, as well as some training documentation, and other periphery that came with it. I will also include the leftover printing and support materials (however they are all expired). Included, also expired, is a pack of 2 (1KG) VeroClear material (worth about £600)
Everything needed to be able to start printing 3D prototypes and models is included with this sale. You will need to provide some materials however.
In a recent discussion with the original maintenance company, I was told that it will need a new roller soon – for which they quoted £589.00 + a visit to calibrate and install (quote available). However I would be inclined to have a second opinion on this as the printer has printed perfectly for the two test prints that I have done with it. Another Stratasys maintenance company indicated that the costs would be lower if done through them – which I believe. The printer received complete and regular maintenance during its time in use. It has not been calibrated or maintained since I purchased it in March 2016, but as already mentioned, the printer has been used only two times, both in March 2016.
More information on this printer is available on the Stratasys website, here:
The buyer must be prepared to collect the machine from Surrey, near Hampton Court. It will require a van and at least two men to move. Buyer will be entirely responsible for collection and the safety of the printer in transit.
If you are interested, you’re welcome come and see the machine.
Please note that I am away for work from 16th until 20th May and will not be able to complete the sale during that time. If you buy my printer, you will need to wait until my return to arrange collection. Also, please note that the printer is advertised elsewhere and may be withdrawn from listing without notice.
Thanks for looking.
